The ESPEC AMR-system monitors the change of the insulation resistance during a temperature cycling test. The system detects microcracks at connection points, which only occur for a short period during temperature changes and are difficult to detect afterwards. Users can specify test profiles with individual intervals synchronised with the temperature cycles of a thermal shock test chamber.
The documentation and evaluation is performed by dedicated software. It is installed on a high-quality PC system and combined with a multiplexer, which gradually controls the channels to be monitored.
The basic equipment allows users to monitor 40 channels. It can be expanded to up to 280 channels as required. The system continuously measures in a range between 10-3 and 106 ohm (1mOhm to 1MOhm) with a very high degree of precision. The 4-wire measurement method provides precise and reliable results.
The ESPEC AMR system can be combined with one or more temperature shock test chambers and synchronously controlled with the test profile using the system software.
