The interior work of the new ThermoTEC service building continues to progress

ThermoTEC Weilburg, a leading specialist in sales and service of climate testing technology, has reached another milestone towards its multifunctional service building. As recently as last winter, there was hardly any sign of the new building on Friedenbachstrasse in Weilburg. Now, not only is the building taking shape from the outside – significant progress can also be seen inside the walls.

In addition to the completion of the building shell and the sealing and waterproofing of the flat roof, the interior work is now also progressing in big steps. In many hours of work, the relevant crafts have installed windows and doors, installed heating, poured screed, laid insulation and much more. The structural work for the electrics, ventilation and plumbing is also almost complete.

In some areas, such as the workshop and storage area, things are progressing particularly quickly. Not only have the majority of the walls already been sealed, but the new storage system has also been installed. It is already easy to imagine the new storage facilities in the matching ThermoTEC colors.

In line with the company’s philosophy of using natural resources in a particularly environmentally friendly way, ThermoTEC will install a 130 kWp solar system on the roof of the company building, which will cover a large part of the energy requirements. In addition, both the office and warehouse buildings meet the requirements of an energy-efficient new building in accordance with the KfW 55 standard.

But of course, a new building like this cannot be constructed without the support of the employees who coordinate the crafts, read the regulations and, of course, keep an eye on the progress of the construction work. Many thanks to all the employees who are supporting this project so actively.

In the next update, we will inform you about the further expansion such as ceiling cladding, plastering, painting and, as a special highlight, our brand new cooling system.

The planned completion of the new building is scheduled for fall 2024.
