Ice water shock chambers ThermoTEC EWS-series – air-to-liquid. Powerful, featuring a fixed test chamber – without any mechanical impact on test specimens.
The ice water shock test chamber is used for flushing (flooding) a fixed test area with saline or also fully de-ionized (DI-) ice water and for tempering the surrounding test area with circulating air.
Test bath 600 x 415 x 650 (W x H x D in mm)
Chamber body 1100 x 2000 x 2200 (W x H x D in mm)
Further Product InformationThe automatically controlled ice water shock test chamber, type EWS, is specially designed for testing the thermal and corrosion behavior of your test specimens. For this purpose, the specimens are first heated up in an insulated test room within a temperature range (RT +10 °C to max. +180 °C) and remain at the selected temperature for a freely adjustable period of time. Next, the test specimens are flooded for example with salt water (i.e. the test bath is flooded). This occurs without mechanical impact or movement of the test specimens. This is one of the main advantages of the system! The test liquid can be freely parameterized in a temperature range from 0 °C to +10 °C (larger temperature range available as option). Using a time-controlled sequence program the temperature storage with cyclic flooding takes place fully automated.
