Further Product InformationThe automatically controlled ice water shock test chamber, type EWS, is specially designed for testing the thermal and corrosion behavior of your test specimens. For this purpose, the specimens are first heated up in an insulated test room within a temperature range (RT +10 °C to max. +180 °C) and remain at the selected temperature for a freely adjustable period of time. Next, the test specimens are flooded for example with salt water (i.e. the test bath is flooded). This occurs without mechanical impact or movement of the test specimens. This is one of the main advantages of the system! The test liquid can be freely parameterized in a temperature range from 0 °C to +10 °C (larger temperature range available as option). Using a time-controlled sequence program the temperature storage with cyclic flooding takes place fully automated.
